SUSHI  

Hi, my name is Summer Rushing. I started rolling sushi 11 years ago in Pascagoula, MS at a small, locally owned sushi restaurant called, Jack’s by the Tracks.

I was never traditionally trained in the art of sushi… Instead, we were given the basics and just figured it out as I went. That’s where the name Summer’s Sushi came from. This is what my sushi has become over the past 11 years of trial and error. The best way to learn!!

I started bringing materials home and making sushi for me and my friends… One day one of my friend’s parents asked me to come do it at their home for a birthday party… I quickly realized I might have something.

I had the opportunity to move to Pensacola and with the help of my wife, Blair Rushing, we have been able to grow our business to 3 Sushi Crews and an upcoming food trailer. This July 2023 will be the 3 year anniversary of Summer’s Sushi. We are SO grateful for all the amazing opportunities that have come our way and look forward to the future!! We love what we do and try and spread as much love as we can with our sushi… MADE WITH LOVE!! Makes all the difference!
